Message to students
Thank you for your interest in SOKA University’s Bachelor International Liberal Arts Degree. As a faculty person my goal is to educate students to learn about the multicultural working environment in global organizations, understand global issues, and develop innovative solutions to challenges organizations face locally and globally. All of the courses I instruct are taught in English.
I look forward to joining a group of distinguished professors who come to SOKA from all over the world to teach in the department. I am originally from Turkey and have lived in the US for 18 years. I received my BS from University of California Berkeley and my MS and PhD from University of Pittsburgh. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience in Management Science and Operations Research. My current research interests are in the application of Operations Research in the areas of Logistics, Sports and Tourism. I have applied experience in a variety of fields ranging from manufacturing to scheduling. I also have leadership experience having served previously as MBA Director, Assistant Dean and Dean.
